Turismo
Turismo, el turismo comprende las actividades que realizan las personas durante sus viajes y estancias en lugares distintos al de su entorno habitual, por un período consecutivo inferior a un año y mayor a un día, con fines de ocio, por negocios o por otros motivos.
Arthur Bormann (Berlín, 1930) define el turismo como el conjunto de los viajes cuyo objeto es el placer o por motivos comerciales o profesionales y otros análogos, y durante los cuales la ausencia de la residencia habitual es temporal, no son turismo los viajes realizados para trasladarse al lugar de trabajo.
Walter Hunziker - Kurt Krapf, 1942 dicen que "El turismo es el conjunto de relaciones y fenómenos producidos por el desplazamiento y permanencia de personas fuera de su domicilio, en tanto que dichos desplazamientos y permanencia no están motivados por una actividad lucrativa".
El término "turismología" surgió en los años '60. Pero fue el yugoslavo Živadin Jovičić (geógrafo en su formación académica), el científico considerado "padre de la turismología", quién lo popularizó cuando fundó la revista del mismo nombre en 1972.
Jovicic consideraba que ninguna de las ciencias existentes podía realizar el estudio del turismo en toda su dimensión (ni la geografía, ni la economía, ni la sociología, etc.) por considerar que sus aportaciones son unilaterales. Esto lo permitiría la creación de una ciencia independiente, la turismología.
TOURISM
Tourism, tourism comprises the activities of persons traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for a period less than one year in a row and more than one day, for leisure, for business or other reasons .
Arthur Bormann (Berlin, 1930) defines tourism as a whole is aimed at travel pleasure or business or professional grounds and the like, and for which the absence of habitual residence is temporary, not tourism trips made to move into the workplace.
Walter Hunziker - Kurt Krapf, 1942 say that "Tourism is the set of relationships and phenomena resulting in displacement of people and stay away from home, while such movement and residence are not motivated by a lucrative business."
The term "Tourismology" emerged in the '60s. But it was the Yugoslav Zivadin Jovicic (in their academic geographer), the scientist considered the "father of Tourismology", who popularized it when he founded the magazine of the same name in 1972.
Jovicic considered that none of the existing science could make the study of tourism in all its dimensions (or geography, or economics, or sociology, etc.) On the grounds that their contributions are unilateral. This will allow the creation of a separate science,
